a $200 saturday

toby the taurus monster broke today. he's about 382 in car years so i can't be too upset. and it was fixable. his stability bar joint or something or other broke. $200 later and he's good as "new".

i just need him to last until after the mcat in april. if i do well, i'll be purchasing a "new" car since i'll likely need it before heading off to income-less medical school. if i bomb the mcat, i'll probably head to NYC and sell my car. just a few more months toby monster, you can do it.

in good news the service garage did a once over, checking all his bits and pieces and he got GREEN for GOOD in all categories. he's such a trooper. regardless if i replace him or sell him, i'll really miss him. he's been such a good car for all i put him through.

my savings account is moaning from emptiness. doesn't shit always happen like this? i had to register for the mcat, buy my mcat study materials and fix toby in the course of 3 weeks. poor poor savings.

i'm going to drown my sorrows in a nap.
